The Queensland intensive care training pathway provides centralised selection and allocation of intensive care medicine trainees to accredited adult and paediatric intensive care units statewide. Trainees are appointed to a pathway training hospital for 6–12 months.
Trainees remain on the pathway for the duration of their intensive care training, subject to satisfactory performance.

Applications must be submitted through the Queensland Health RMO Campaign annual recruitment process. Refer to the RMO Campaign website for application opening and closing dates. Late applications will not be accepted.
