icon Babinda has been reclassified and renamed as a primary health centre under new guidelines for rural and remote health facilities that are being introduced statewide.
icon Babinda employs allied health staff and provides inpatient and outpatient services.
icon The home based nursing service provides medication management, helping to keep the elderly in their homes and prevent early admission to aged care facilities.
icon Babinda can provide assistance through the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme for eligible patients who need to travel to other facilities that provide heath services that are not available locally.
icon Visiting health services to Babinda include gerontology, aged care assessment, speech pathology, dietetics, midwifery group practice, radiography, mental health, alcohol and drugs, and women's health.
icon Home and community care services are available for eligible clients. This service is managed by the director of nursing and includes centre-based respite two days a week, transport and in-home respite for carers.
