	The Richmond Health Service provides inpatient, outpatient and emergency care services plus a (24-hours a day, seven days a week) hospital-based ambulance service.
	Richmond Health Service in coordination with the Queensland Ambulance Service is developing a training package for nursing staff to manage the hospital-based ambulance.
	Visiting services available to the Richmond community include, dental, women's health, allied health and mental health.
	Telehealth services are available, via video conference, for linking patients with specialist services, reducing the need for patient travel.
	The Richmond Health Service provides financial assistance through the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme to eligible patients who need to travel away to other health services for procedures and tests not available locally.
	The medical superintendent is also the general practitioner for the town which allows for seamless services to patients.
	Community-based staff provide school-based health support and child health services.
