Communicable Disease Control
The Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Team:
- Investigates and responds to cases and outbreaks of notifiable communicable diseases
- Provides expert public health advice, support and training to medical practitioners and other health care workers, residential care, child care services and the general public about communicable disease prevention and control. and the management of outbreaks of communicable diseases
- Contributes to the development and implementation of communicable disease control resources and interventions
