National product catalogue
Queensland Health uses an electronic catalogue to facilitate purchasing across all Queensland Health facilities— the Queensland Health catalogue.
In addition, Queensland Health has selected GS1 Australia’s National Product Catalogue (NPC) to help suppliers share current, accurate and standardised product information.
Many recent Queensland Health 'Invitations to Offer' already require medical consumables, pharmaceuticals and dental goods to be registered on the NPC. Please refer to 'Invitations to Offer' documents for specific requirements.
Registering on the NPC
To ensure the Queensland Health catalogue includes all relevant product information for supplier products, we request and encourage suppliers to register on the NPC.
Having your detailed product information on the NPC will allow your products to be identified quickly in the Queensland Health catalogue and will aid Queensland Health’s ability to correctly raise orders.
