Locations

Seven new Satellite Hospitals will be delivered to support public healthcare delivery in South East Queensland. They are being built in:

  • Bribie Island
  • Kallangur
  • Eight Mile Plains
  • Caboolture
  • Tugun
  • Ripley
  • Redlands.

Locations for each site were decided by considering community health needs and to support emergency departments at nearby hospitals.

Patients requiring more urgent care for trauma or chronic and emergency health issues will still need to visit the major hospital in their region for treatment.
