eHealth Investment Strategy
Information and communications technology (ICT) is an increasing enabler of integrated, quality and safe health services.
Queensland Health's eHealth Investment Strategy ensures that ICT investments form part of a considered and cohesive plan between Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) and the department to better enable the delivery of quality and efficient health services.
The strategy identifies future ICT requirements over the next 20 years to ensure the state's health system can continue to provide essential services to Queenslanders.
