Up until 9 September, 26,362 COVID-19 tests have been taken at public and private testing sites across Wide Bay. This week Queensland reached the mark of a million COVID-19 tests being carried out across the state with the total standing at 1,001,084 at the close of clinics on 9 September.

New Bundaberg hospital site revealed
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has unveiled a preferred site for a new hospital in Bundaberg. The 60 hectare greenfield site is on Bundaberg Ring Road, to the west of Kay McDuff Drive, about five kilometres south of the central business district.

Up until 16 September, 27,179 COVID-19 tests have been taken at public and private testing sites across Wide Bay. In the week from September 10 – September 16, some 817 COVID-19 tests took place across Wide Bay, including 551 tests at our three WBHHS fever clinics at Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough.

Up until 23 September, 28,063 COVID-19 tests have been taken at public and private testing sites across Wide Bay. In the week from September 17 – September 23, some 884 COVID-19 tests took place across Wide Bay, including 424 tests at our three WBHHS fever clinics at Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
