Super Schools vaccination weekend returns
Friday 19 November 2021

Queensland Health is once again offering COVID-19 vaccinations at a number of schools across the state this weekend, including eight schools in Wide Bay.
Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) Vaccine Lead Fiona Sewell said the walk-in clinics were open to all community members aged 12 years and above.
“Our school clinics have been very successful in the past with high rates of first doses being administered, so we’re happy to be able to offer pop-up clinics at schools once again,” Ms Sewell said.
“Bring your family, friends and neighbours – this is a community effort and we need everyone to come forward to get vaccinated.
“Vaccination remains the best way to protect ourselves and our loved ones against the impacts of COVID-19, including serious illness or death from the virus.
“In addition to our school clinics, our fixed vaccine hubs at Bundaberg TAFE, Hervey Bay TAFE and Maryborough City Hall will also be open on Saturday (20 November) between 8am and 4pm.”
