Consumer and community engagement means building meaningful connections between government, communities and citizens. CQ Health is committed to empowering our community to have a greater say in their local health services.

Consumer and community engagement is the most effective way for health services to understand how to best meet the healthcare needs of their community.

Our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders strategy shapes the future of healthcare across our region, and supports our aim for Central Queenslanders to be among the healthiest in the world.

Our patients and consumers will be at the heart of how we design and deliver services. Engagement is about more than sharing information, we want to give our community access to the decision-making process.
