Please read the below important updates for accessing Gladstone Hospital. Information current as of 11 December 2020.
-
Emergency Department 24/7 - access off Park Street only
Our Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including public holidays.
The new Emergency Department is located in Park Street.
- Follow the signs to the public car park and use the stairs or ramp underneath the large blue Main Entry sign.
- From here, you can walk through an undercover corridor towards the elevators, which will take you to the Reception Desk on the Ground floor.
- From Reception you’ll be directed to the Emergency Department, which is marked with a large red sign.
-
Patient drop off zone
If you require the patient drop off zone or disabled parking, drive past the public car park entry and follow the signs.
From the drop off zone, take the red doors for Emergency or the blue doors for the Main Entry - all public access to other parts of the hospital is through the Main Entry.
-
No hospital access from Flinders Street
Due to ongoing construction work, there is NO hospital entry from Flinders Street (the other side of the hospital campus).
-
Cancer Care Services
Gladstone Hospital cancer care services have relocated from 2 November 2020.
All patients visiting the chemotherapy day unit should now attend the West Wing Gladstone Hospital (previously known as the Mater Private Hospital). Patients attending appointments with their oncologist or haematologist will also be seen at the West Wing.
Please park at the front of the West Wing and follow the signs. Entry to Cancer Care Services is via the ambulance bay to the left of the Main Entry doors.
You can use your smart phone to sign in by scanning the QR code and using the EVA check-in app. If you need help or don’t have a phone, that’s OK, our friendly staff will be available to help.
Please note there will be no access to the West Wing via the linkway with Gladstone Hospital’s Block 1 as refurbishment work continues in other parts of the building.
