Youth Alcohol and Other Drugs Service
Our service helps young people aged 12 – 18 years who are seeking support for alcohol and/or drug concern.
Our staff provide individual counselling, working alongside young people to help them achieve their goals.
A young person will have a drug and alcohol assessment to identify the substance of concern, severity of drug use, motivation to change, and treatment goals.
All our services are free of charge to Medicare card holders and have a focus on reducing harms associated with substance use.
Assistance for people over 18 is available from our Alcohol and Other Drugs Service.
We provide a range of free services including:
- relapse prevention planning
- individual counselling
- referrals to other organisations
- Health promotion, education and information
All of our services are free to Medicare card holders.

You can access this service by contacting us. You can also be referred by:
- family members or friends
- GP's and health professionals
- education facilities
- other government or non-government services
A range of local and national support and information services can assist with alcohol and other drug use concerns.
