Clinical Excellence Showcase 2024

Registration is now open

Register for the Clinical Excellence Showcase 2024:

The Clinical Excellence Showcase 2024 is coming this 14-15 May, in person and online.

The Showcase is a must-attend event for Queensland health professionals wanting to transform the way care is delivered across the state.

Now in its eighth year, the event brings together like-minded individuals to share their success and connect with others to affect change; all with the shared goal, to improve outcomes for their local community.

The Showcase 2024 continues our vision of Learn – Partner – Innovate. Over two days, we will shine a spotlight on the ways our clinicians are partnering with and listening to their communities to make sure they are receiving quality health care. Featured projects will demonstrate clear improvements and benefits for Queenslanders accessing our services and helping shape sustainable health care into the future.

Program of events

Clinical Excellence Queensland (CEQ) is proud to unveil the full program for Clinical Excellence Showcase 2024:

To kickstart the event, we’ll hear a keynote address from Dual Olympian-come-OBGYN Jana Pittman, who will share her story, 'Just Another Hurdle'.

Across the two days, delegates will also hear 42 presentations across the following sessions:

  • Small change; big difference: improving care at the coalface (small scale improvements)
  • For the greater good: improving care for priority populations (First Nations, people with a disability, LGBTQIA+, mental health, culturally & linguistically diverse, rural and remote)
  • Future focused: virtual, data-driven or technologically advanced improvements
  • Better care pathways: patient flow, improved access and community initiatives
  • For the people: wellbeing, environmental impact, climate change and sustainability improvements.

The program also features an introduction to the Healthcare Improvement Community of Practice (HICOP) with a dedicated networking breakfast. You can add a ticket to the breakfast when registering online. Spaces are limited.

In-person registration for Clinical Excellence Showcase 2024 close 5pm 1 May 2024 and virtual registrations close 5pm 10 May 2024.

Most of the photographs and videos taken on the day will be used for marketing purposes (for example, on our website or social media channels).

If you do not provide your consent, your name badge will be red in colour which indicates you do not wish to have your photograph taken or be filmed. This helps our crew to know who to include and who not to include in their shots. Please contact our team for more information or ask one of our crew members on the day.
