Child and Youth Mental Health

We provide assistance to people under 18 years of age who have complex mental health needs. This includes people experiencing:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Psychosis
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Eating disorders
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Our services

We work with you and your family or carers to develop a shared understanding of your concerns.

Our services are recovery oriented - this means we recognise and help build on your strengths for better health and wellbeing. Our plans and actions may involve working with other people or agencies (with your permission) for a joint understanding of how best to help you.  Tools that may be part of a plan for your recovery include:

  • Mental health assessments
  • Individual therapy
  • Family focussed work
  • Group work
  • Medication if required
  • Referrals to other teams

  • GPs and health professionals
  • other government or non-government services
