Queensland Rheumatology Advanced Training Network

In Queensland, advanced training in Rheumatology is offered through a state-wide, centralised recruitment and selection process. This process is coordinated by the Australian Rheumatology Association Queensland (ARAQ) Director of Clinical Training and Rheumatology Directors of Queensland Hospitals with accredited advanced training position/s.

A Rheumatology Advanced Trainee is a trainee registrar of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). Successful applicants will be selected and appointed by a recruitment panel considering training requirements, facility preferences and clinical workforce demands. The training program emphasises state-wide consistency and quality, in association with trainee equity, flexibility and choice.

Applications for part time training will be considered.
