CHANGES TO ACCESS: In response to COVID-19, to ensure the continued safety of our staff and your communities, from Monday the doors to the facilities will remain locked.

All patients needing to present must first call ahead. Due to travel restrictions these facilities are only available to residents.

icon Mapoon offers primary clinical care and primary healthcare services through strong partnerships between nursing staff, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers.
icon Level 2 emergency care centre. 24 hours access to registered nurse and triage presentations.
icon Mapoon provides a suite of regular visiting medical, community and allied health services in partnership with other health and social service providers, including diabetes educators, podiatry, paediatricians, hearing health, mental health, maternal, child health, eye specialists, and ear nose and throat specialists.
icon Telehealth services are available for linking with other facilities via video-conference for patients.
icon Mapoon can provide financial assistance through the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme to eligible patients who need to travel to other hospitals for procedures and tests not available locally.
