Capital works or recent improvements
A broadband enabled tele-ophthalmology system is now available at the Bamaga PHCC. This is part of a $2 million research project funded jointly by the Australian, Queensland and Western Australian Governments, and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. This new technology assists with reducing travel costs and waiting times, while working towards closing the gap in eye health.
Alcohol management plans
Visitors and residents are expected to respect and abide by the alcohol management plan. Check the NPA Community Alcohol Limits as conditions vary according to community.
