icon The self-care dialysis unit at Bamaga Hospital currently has two chairs. These chairs allow patients who require dialysis and who have had self-dialysis training to remain in the community while undergoing treatment.
icon In July 2015, the Bamaga Hospital won a Torres and Cape HHS Excellence Award for ‘Improvement in Health Service Quality’.
icon Telehealth services are available throughout the HHS. This service provides residents access to specialist services without having to leave their local community.
