Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) wishes to reassure the community, in light of recent comments made by the Federal Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt, regarding the New Bundaberg Hospital.

Wide Bay residents who work with animals are being urged to get vaccinated against a bacterial disease that has been identified across the region.

As of 10am Wednesday, 7 September there were 14 admitted patients with COVID-19 in hospital care within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. With one additional patient being supported by our COVID-19 virtual ward.

Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) fever clinics will be administering their last COVID-19 test tomorrow (Friday, 2 September), bringing a close to the team’s significant contribution to the pandemic response.

As of 10am Wednesday, 31st August there were 30 admitted patients with COVID-19 in hospital care within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. With an additional three patients being supported by our COVID-19 virtual ward.
