Forensic and Scientific Services offers a number of clinical placements to health professional students at their facilities. Types of placements vary between research, clinical (forensic pathology), and professional placements.

Organising the placement

If you are enrolled in a health education program at an Australian university, and you have a clinical placement requirement, your education provider’s placement coordinator will need to contact the Forensic and Scientific Services facility placement coordinator to negotiate placement availability and details on your behalf.

If you have been offered a placement at a Forensic and Scientific Services facility you will need to prepare for your clinical placement by completing your mandatory orientation prior to commencing the placement. Part of the orientation process includes the completion of orientation documents for your placement.

Please visit Forensic and Scientific Services Student placements for further information and contact details.
