Support for education providers

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service currently offers in excess of 1850 nursing, midwifery and allied health student placements a year, and is experiencing constant demand for clinical student placements.

To ensure quality student placements are offered, and our obligations to our Sunshine Coast Health Institute partners are met, sustainable processes have been developed and must be followed by all Education Providers wishing to place students in any of our facilities.

Individual requests from students will not be accepted.

Deeds

To secure a student clinical placement the Education Provider must have signed a Deed or Memorandum of Understanding with Queensland Health.

Schedules

Once agreement has been reached for a student placement to proceed a schedule for placement will be completed and signed between the parties.
