Rural multi-purpose health services

Multi purpose Health Service (MPHS) is a service for flexible care and an amalgamation of services including acute hospital care, residential aged care, community health, home & community care and other health related services.  This amalgamation of services is used to provide flexible care. A MPHS is generally established in populations not large enough to support a separate hospital, residential aged care and community care services.
