Department of Health policies

The Department of Health monitors and logs all internet activity undertaken on the Queensland Health network. Internet use as defined in the Use of ICT Services Standard shall be compliant with the law, including legislation, whole-of-government policy, Department of Health policy, and the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service.

Queensland Health guidelines

A subset of supporting documents that provides guidance to Hospital and Health Services.

Health Service Directives

Health Service Directives define required achievements and actions from Hospital and Health Services.

Health Employment Directives

Documents which define employment conditions for health service employees.

Clinical Services Capability Framework (CSCF)

A set of minimum requirements for the provision of health services in Queensland public and licensed private health facilities.

Clinical Guidelines

Clinical guidelines and procedures for health professionals covering topics like infection control, patient safety, clinical pathways and drugs, medicines and poisons.

The National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland)

The National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland) will apply from 1 October 2015 and will strengthen regulation of unregistered health care workers.
