Media contacts
Queensland Health is comprised of a corporate office based in Brisbane, 16 independent Hospital and Health Services, and the Queensland Ambulance Service, which is a separate entity within the health portfolio.
The corporate office (Department of Health) manages media enquiries relating to policy and departmental matters, statewide services and major public health issues. It also manages media for the Hospital and Health Services in rural and remote areas of the state: North West, South West, Central West, and Torres and Cape.
The remaining Hospital and Health Services have their own media teams who manage all local media enquiries including patient condition reports and interview requests.
