Support and assistance for mental health care
If you or someone else needs help with their mental health, you can:
- read about getting support for your mental wellbeing
- call the mental health access line on 1300 MH CALL (1300 642255) to link to a public mental health service.
Providing compliments and complaints
You can speak with your local authorised mental health service about your treatment and care under the Mental Health Act 2016.
If you need assistance with your rights in a mental health service, you can:
- read about patient rights and support and access consumer resources available to help patients, their families, carers and other support persons
- speak with your local independent patient rights advisor, available to advise you of your rights under the Mental Health Act 2016.
