High risk countries

The incidence of tuberculosis is the estimated number of new and relapse tuberculosis cases arising in a given year, and is expressed as a rate per 100,000 population.

In Queensland, we consider a country with an incidence of above 40 tuberculosis cases per 100 000 people to be a high risk or high burden country.

Find the incidence of tuberculosis by country, (per 100,000 people) based on the World Health Organization Global tuberculosis report.

Individual country data can be obtained from the World Health Organization  Tuberculosis country profiles.
