High risk countries

The incidence of tuberculosis is the estimated number of new and relapse tuberculosis cases arising in a given year, and is expressed as a rate per 100,000 population.

In Queensland, we consider a country with an incidence of above 40 tuberculosis cases per 100 000 people to be a high risk or high burden country.

Find the incidence of tuberculosis by country, (per 100,000 people) based on the World Health Organization Global Tuberculosis Programme.
