The Voluntary Assisted Dying Review Board (Review Board) is the independent oversight body for voluntary assisted dying in Queensland. The Review Board reviews each voluntary assisted dying request to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2021.

The Review Board publishes a range of data and resources to provide information about the voluntary assisted dying process and its use as an additional end-of-life choice by people who are suffering and dying.

    Reports about voluntary assisted dying for each financial year. The reports include summary information about who accessed voluntary assisted dying and information about the Review Board’s activities.

  • Quarterly reports

    Key demographic and activity data about voluntary assisted dying for each quarter from 1 January 2024.

  • The first year of voluntary assisted dying in Queensland

    A snapshot of key demographic and activity data for the first 12 months of voluntary assisted dying in Queensland.
