Integrated care innovation fund (ICIF)
Clinical Excellence Division
The ICIF provides financial support to innovative projects that deliver better integration of care, address fragmentation in services and provide high-value healthcare.
Funded projects also demonstrate a willingness to embrace and encourage the uptake of new technology alongside the benefits of integrating care and improving communication between health care sectors.
Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services, Cameron Dick announced the $35 million ICIF on 28 January 2016.
A consultation process with HHSs has resulted in the full allocation of the $35m ICIF fund.
