Update on ieMR outage as at 5pm

The ieMR’s log-in function has now been restored.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely.

Thank you for your patience as we worked with our vendor to restore ieMR functionality today.

Back-up systems operated well, and we are not aware of any direct patient safety impacts as a result of the ieMR issues today.

A post-incident review analysis to understand the cause of the issue, and steps to prevent it occurring again in the future, will take place over coming days.

Update on ieMR outage as at 1pm

Login issues affecting the integrated electronic Medical Record persist.

Users currently logged in can continue to use ieMR, and can change users, using a supported function within the active session.

Where necessary, alternative paper-based processes are in place and all clinical services continue to be available to the public.

No patient safety issues have been reported.

Privacy and confidentiality procedures remain in place.

We continue to work with the vendor to resolve these issues as soon as possible.

Queensland Health statement as at 10am

The integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) system used in some Queensland hospitals to enable healthcare workers to digitally document clinical care is currently experiencing log-in issues for some users.

Users logged on prior to the issue commencing at about 8am this morning are able to continue using the ieMR system and can change users, allowing them to also log in using a supportive function within the active session.

Where healthcare workers cannot log in, well-practised alternative paper-based processes are in place and all clinical services continue to be available to the public.

Queensland Health is working closely with the vendor to address the issue as soon as possible.

Privacy and confidentiality procedures remain in place.
