Computer-assisted coding solution for ICD clinical coding

Queensland Health is a large public health organisation serving the needs of over 5 million people and is committed to being adaptable, embedding innovative models of care and implementing new technologies that improve patient care and deliver services more efficiently.

Queensland Health have initiated a procurement process for a state-of-the-art solution to meet the increasing volume and complexity of needs within the public health system.

The opportunity

We are seeking a contemporary computer-assisted coding and grouping solution that is future-proofed through International Classification of Diseases (ICD) version 10 and 11 compatibility, which manages the coding workflow through a single interface with built-in quality and business intelligence capabilities.

The invitation to offer (ITO) has now been released. Access to a de-identified clinical data set can be provided to aid the development of a tender response, in addition to an overarching strategy document to provide context for the positioning of responses within the needs and aims of Queensland Health.

There will be an extended ITO period for this procurement to provide opportunity for the incorporation of clinical data into product demonstrations. Procurement for this project will close at 2pm AEST on Friday, 17 May 2024.

How to submit a tender
