Quality policy statement

Linen Services is a government-owned semi-commercial business unit specialising in providing linen hire services to Queensland Health facilities. Our commitment is to deliver the best quality and most cost-effective option for the provision of linen to the public health sector.

Linen Services is a part of Supply Chain Branch, which aims to provide a high-quality and resilient supply chain service to ensure our frontline healthcare workers can deliver effective patient care.

Part of Corporate Services Division (CSD), the branch manages the Queensland Government Critical Supply Reserve (QGCSR) and an end-to-end supply chain management function to ensure reliable supply of linen, pharmaceuticals and medical consumables for Queenslanders.

Linen Services is committed to continuous improvement and have established a quality management system which provides a framework for measuring and improving our performance.

To achieve this and satisfy customer expectations, we are committed to maintaining a quality management system compliant with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015. LS holds BSI Certificate Number FS520941— for the provision of laundry services for healthcare facilities.

We empower and expect our team to:

Our internal procedures are reviewed regularly and available to all employees.

Although the director has accountability, all employees have a responsibility within their work areas to help ensure that quality is embedded within the whole of Linen Services.
