OHMR Funding - Health Research Fellowship Program

OHMR Project Grants

Status: Applications closed 12 March 2012.

The OHMR Project Grants are available in 3 areas:

  • Applied Research Grants in Population Health and Injury Prevention
  • Nursing and Midwifery Grants
  • Physiotherapy Grants

 

Senior Clinical Research Fellowships

Status: Sucessful recipients to be announced shortly.

Funding of up to $850,000 per annum for five years is available to attract and retain researchers to Queensland who are international leaders in their field.

Health Research Fellowships

Status: Sucessful recipients announced.

Funding of up to $150,000 per annum for five years is available as salary support to allow districts to back-fill the clinical time of practicing clinicians or other health professionals to undertake clinical or health service research.

Clinical Academic Fellowships

Status: Sucessful recipients announced.

Funding of up to $75,000 per annum for five years is available towards the salary of a new clinical academic position, established by a Queensland publicly funded health care facility, and a Queensland university.
