Referral pathways

The referral should be directed to the closest, most appropriate service for the patient. Refer to the table below to determine the most appropriate service.

It may be helpful to check with the particular pain service you are intending to refer to as some are shared geographical locations. If you are unsure which Hospital and Health Service you are in, please refer to the Hospital and Health Services map. GPs can use their local HealthPathways to refer.
