Queensland Health has issued a coronavirus (COVID-19) contact tracing alert after a 63-year-old woman returned from Iran and was on the Gold Coast while potentially infectious. The woman is currently in isolation at Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Queensland Health is pleased to report that the first of the state’s confirmed novel coronavirus (COVID-19) patients has left hospital, having recovered. An 8-year-old-boy, a Chinese national from Wuhan who was confirmed to have novel coronavirus in early February, left hospital with his family last night (Wednesday).
