Targeted Clinical Research Fellowships Round 2

Applications will closed at 11:59pm AEST on Monday 2 December 2024.

The Queensland Health Targeted Clinical Research Fellowships (Targeted CRF) program was established in 2023 and sits alongside the general program. It is designed to support researchers and their high-impact research projects across different targeted streams.

Round 2 of Targeted CRF opened on 30 September 2024 and closed on 2 December 2024. This round offered fellowship awards across the following five streams::

  • Novice Researcher (Regional, Rural & Remote) - up to $30,000 per award
  • Rural and Remote - up to $125,000 per award
  • First Nations - up to $125,000 per award
  • Women and Girls' Health - up to $125,000 per award
  • Genomics - up to $125,000 per award

An optional additional (up to) $10,000 mentorship supplement is available for eligible researchers who are based out of regional, rural, or remote health facilities. The supplement is in addition to the Fellowship funding award.
