Radiation safety for orthopaedic registrars

This course is designed for orthopaedic surgeons, registrars and principal house officers. The program consists of:

  • attendance at a 6–hour course consisting of theory and practical sessions
  • formal assessment (50 question, true/false exam).

Certification

The Australian Orthopaedic Association has approved this course to fulfil the radiation safety training requirements for applicants to the orthopaedics training program.

It may also be suitable for surgeons and registrars intending to apply for a regulatory radiation use licence (e.g. mini c-arm).
