The purpose of the web site is to provide information and resources for consumers and health professionals on issues relating to bowel cancer screening.
Bowel cancer is the second highest cause of cancer related death in Australia but can be prevented if detected and treated early.
The Queensland Bowel Cancer Screening Program is part of a national initiative being implemented by the Australian Government in collaboration with states and territories.
