Research, quality improvement and data requests
The Voluntary Assisted Dying Review Board (Review Board) has several functions related to research and quality improvement under section 117(1) of the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2021. The Review Board research and quality improvement strategy (PDF 1373 kB) sets out the board's approach.
Research proposals
The Review Board supports research that builds and strengthens the evidence base for voluntary assisted dying in Queensland, and in doing so promote continuous improvement in the compassionate, safe and practical operation of the Act.
If you plan to conduct research, and would like to request Review Board support, please complete the research proposal and self-assessment matrix (PDF 1437 kB).
Completed proposals should be submitted for consideration by the Review Board Research and Quality Improvement Subcommittee by email to VADReviewBoard@health.qld.gov.au.
Accessing data
