These guidelines are used to set up and maintain emergency response resources in your rural or remote health facility. They provide best practice recommendations for standardisation of resources in rural and remote health care facilities in Queensland with emergency services assessed as Level 1 or Level 2 according to the Clinical Services Capability Framework for public and licensed private health facilities v.3.2 (2014). Find your facility's level.

Ordering resources

- To see what RRESS resources are currently stocked in Queensland Health Distribution Centres or Regional Warehouses, access the Product Catalogue - Online Product Catalogue - Power BI
- Staff are responsible for ensuring RRESS material numbers and item descriptions are correct before submitting orders.
- If possible, order RRESS consumables from Queensland Health Distribution Centres or Regional Warehouses, rather than directly from suppliers.
- If you need smaller quantities of an already stocked item (e.g.1 item instead of a box of 100), email: supplychain-nursemanager@health.qld.gov.au
