Understanding SCN2A
SCN2A is a gene that helps control how nerve cells in the brain communicate. Variations in the SCN2A gene can cause a range of symptoms and conditions, like seizures, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, and problems with sleep and movement.
Treatment for SCN2A related disorders depends on the individual symptoms. Most people will have treatment from a range of health professionals.
