Coding queries and CCAQ advice
Note:
- The coding advice provided by the CCAQ is only applicable to the coding query to which it pertains. If in doubt, submit a new query to CCAQ.
- Where CCAQ coding advice is superseded by coding rules published by IHACPA, then IHACPA coding rules take precedence. CCAQ coding advice will be retired as soon as possible.
- CCAQ advice will state the date from when it is effective and cannot be applied retrospectively.
Search by letter of topic below OR enter keyword in search box. The search box is not case sensitive, however, symbols such as hyphens may affect search results. Sort by letter (A-Z), query title or status.
The status column indicates those query advice which are either ‘New’ advice for a new query or a reviewed query decided at the recent CCAQ meeting; ‘Current’ are queries whose CCAQ advice was reviewed at earlier meetings; and ‘Retired’ are queries whose CCAQ advice was reviewed and retired for specified reason.
