ART licence conditions

General conditions​

General licence conditions apply to all ART providers, these include:

  • Queensland Health ART licence numbers must be displayed on a provider's website.​
  • Audit reports must be provided as soon as possible after finalisation. Audit reports must be produced by a prescribed accreditation entity, e.g. Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee. ​

Specific conditions​

Specific conditions may be applied to an ART provider's licence to address a particular risk, potential, or actual cause for harm. These can be a result of Queensland Health:​

  • addressing a general issue across the ART sector
  • issuing an improvement notice​
  • issuing a prohibition notice​
  • other enforcement action​.

Specific licence conditions may be imposed at the time the licence is granted or at any time during the term of the licence.

Queensland Health may change or remove a specific condition at any time.​

Specific conditions imposed as part of regulatory action may be displayed on the public register.
