Renew an ART licence

• ART licences are granted for 1 or 3 years.​
• ART providers should apply to renew their licence before it expires, but no earlier than 3 months before the expiry date. If the renewal application is submitted on time, the current licence will remain valid while the application is assessed.​
• We will assess the licence renewal application to determine whether the provider continues to be eligible and whether the application meets all the requirements. We may request additional information to support the application.​
• If the application is approved, a new licence will be issued. The new licence will start the day after the old licence ends. ​

If the ARTS Portal is unavailable, an approved paper application form is available upon request by emailing ART@health.qld.gov.au.
