BBV and STI coordinated plans

Queensland Health has developed a suite of plans to provide a coordinated response to sexually transmissible infections (STIs) and blood borne viruses (BBVs). The coordinated plans continue the work of the Queensland Sexual Health Strategy 2016-2021 and the retired Queensland Sexual Health Framework. These plans are:

The response to syphilis requires a coordinated approach between government, non-government and community-based organisations to reach populations most at risk.

These plans align with the National Strategies for Blood Borne Viruses and Sexually Transmissible Infections 2024-2030.
