Community of Practice for Healthcare Educators

The PallConsult Community of Practice (CoP) for Healthcare Educators connects clinical educators and facilitators across Queensland to build capability in supporting health professionals working in end-of-life and palliative care. The CoP provides a virtual space to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and support professional development.

Who should attend

The CoP is open to clinical educators and facilitators from Queensland Health, the Queensland Ambulance Service, and non-government organisations who provide frontline clinical education or facilitation in:

  • Acute care
  • Chronic disease
  • Aged care
  • Community/domiciliary care
  • Palliative care

Meeting details

Sessions are held online via Microsoft Teams. Meetings have already been held on 3 March and 5 May, with the remaining 2026 dates as follows:

  • Tuesday, 7 July 2026, 1:00pm–2:00pm
  • Tuesday, 1 September 2026, 1:00pm–2:00pm
  • Tuesday, 3 November 2026, 1:00pm–2:00pm

Session topics will be confirmed before each meeting and shared with attendees.
