Wage rates – Medical stream
Medical Officers' (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No.7) 2025 (MOCA7) incorporates the below wage rates:
- Resident medical officers and senior medical officers (PDF 246 kB)
- Medical officers with Private Practice (PDF 23 kB)
- Medical superintendents with Private Practice (PDF 30 kB)
- Senior medical superintendents with Private Practice (PDF 28 kB)
- Clinical managers allowance (PDF 34 kB)
- Medical managers allowance (PDF 37 kB)
The Visiting Medical Officers’ Employees (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No.1) 2023 (VMO1) incorporates the below wage rate:
*Please note: The wage rates prescribed above are contained in the Wage rates and allowances within the relevant Queensland Health Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
Wage rates may differ if the corresponding Queensland Health Award wage rates are more favourable than the Agreement rates. This occurs due to the clause within the Agreements which prescribes: It is a term of this Agreement that no person covered by this Agreement will receive a rate of pay which is less than the corresponding rate of pay in the relevant parent award. Employees are paid the higher of the Award rates or the Agreement rates.
