Hospital and Health Service (HHS) interpreter service coordinators
Our coordinators support the delivery of interpreter services for clients who are not proficient in English or who are hearing impaired.
Coordinators are responsible for:
- organising, confirming and verifying interpreter service bookings across facilities and services within HHSs
- verifying invoice charges for interpreter services
- monitoring and evaluating interpreter services
- developing and implementing awareness raising strategies for new interpreter service arrangements
- coordinating and conducting staff training with interpreters on request.
