Investigation into Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service
On 30 August 2023 Queensland Health commissioned an independent Health Service Investigation to investigate concerns raised regarding the delivery of public sector health services provided by Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Services (TCHHS) to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the TCHHS health service area.
The Investigation is being undertaken by four First Nations professionals with vast experience in health, in accordance with the Terms of Reference (PDF 125 kB).
