MASS Client Reference Cards
The Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) introduced MASS Reference (ID) Cards in March 2022 to assist consumers when applying for MASS services or when contacting MASS.
Keep this card with your MASS reference number (“B Number”) for future reference to assist you with new or re-application and to provide information for your local health professional, equipment provider or contacting MASS.
How do I get a MASS reference card?
If you have not applied to MASS before, you will need to apply for MASS services. MASS will post you a MASS reference card after the approval of your first application for one of the below service areas:
- Communication Aids
- Cystic Fibrosis Program (CFP)
- Continence Aids
- Daily living and mobility aids
- Home Oxygen
- Medical Grade Footwear
- Orthoses
- Queensland HME Subsidy Scheme for Laryngectomy
- Queensland Artificial Limb Service
- Spectacle Supply Scheme (client's 65 years of age or older).
If you applied to MASS prior to the introduction of MASS reference cards, you will be sent a MASS reference card after the approval of your next application to one of the above schemes.
MASS clients can also request a new or replacement card completing the below form or by emailing MASS-Admin@health.qld.gov.au
