Moving interstate
MASS may allow the transfer of ownership of its assistive technology to a client who moves from Queensland to another state or overseas.
- You must advise MASS in writing and request that the specified MASS assistive technology be transferred interstate to a similar scheme or to their ownership. MASS will provide a written response outlining the conditions that apply to the MASS decision.
- Should you move before the requested assistive technology is delivered, MASS will cancel the order/delivery of the assistive technology.
- MASS will not pay transport or freight costs for assistive technology outside Queensland.
You should contact the equipment scheme in your new state/territory for information available about:
- What can be provided, the products and amounts provided.
- Available repairs and maintenance.
